From Brașov to Amsterdam: Livstory at CHOCOA

Sometimes you need to go far to realize how far you can actually go. In Livstory’s journey toward international markets, there was one natural step: CHOCOA Amsterdam. Our participation wasn't just about placing a few bars on a stand. We wanted to see how Livstory is perceived in an environment where the culture of fine chocolate and bean-to-bar production is far more developed. To taste. To compare. To listen. And most importantly, to put our products in front of people who know the world of chocolate inside out. The response gave us courage. Following our participation at CHOCOA, Livstory made contact with distributors in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany, and subsequently, a first delivery was made to a distributor in Italy. For us, however, the experience meant more than just the prospect of exporting. It was a confirmation that a product made in Romania can hold its own in an international conversation about chocolate without any complex. Cocoa doesn't know where Brașov is. And when a taster breaks off a piece of a bar, we shouldn't have to explain why they should like it. In that moment, there is only the product. The aroma. The texture. The origin. And the taste. If all these speak for themselves, the fact that the chocolate is made in Romania is no longer a limitation. It becomes part of the story. > World-class cocoa. Chocolate made right here.
